Charkov

Created on the initiative of the Federation of Katyn Families holds 4302 Polish Army officers and civilians, and over 2000 Ukrainians and Jews murdered after 1937. Polish officers had been transported from the captive camps in Starobilsk serving the Poles imprisoned after the occupation of eastern Poland after 1939. A few years ago a Cemetery Book was released containing a list of the buried victims of the Katyn massacre from Charkov.
